Invasive plants such as Japanese Knotweed can cause issues on construction sites and need to be treated. Once treated the contaminated soils need to be removed and disposed of at permitted locations. GMAT has partnerships across the UK that can accept soils infected with invasive plant rhizomes (underground stems).
As a registered waste carrier, we are permitted to remove and dispose of soils that have previously been infected with invasive plants & weeds.
If you need compliant disposal of invasive species soils get in touch to see how we can help.
